Wastewaters Treatment

Industrial water treatment, complex compounds, a high nutrient amount and various process chemicals force us to understand the individual processes and circumstances.

Industrial water treatment is classified in two main ways: wastewater and process water. Industrial water treatment challenges differ from municipal water treatment in various ways. The industrial sector typically consumes less water than the municipal sector, but the water may need more specialized treatment and the challenges are much more demanding.

Industrial Wastewater Treatment

Industrial wastewater treatment is the most demanding field in the water treatment sector. Industrial waste waters contain various impurities which are unique to each sector and vary even inside the industry.

A unique peroxide solution which treats H2S while it’s still in the water phase. Most of the competing solutions only treat the gaseous phase of H2S, which won’t remove the corrosive effect.

Toxic gases are present in various industries and processes. Toxic gases are not only harmful to people but also to processes, infrastructure and equipment. The best-known toxic gas in the wastewater sector is hydrogen sulfide H2S, which has an odour threshold in humans of less than 0.1 ppm. Concentrations above 100 ppm are highly corrosive and immediately lethal.

Water Treatment Equipment

Potable/Process water and Waste Water

Reverse osmosis systems: RO-systems for brackish- and seawater treatment. Our systems can produce up to 1,000 cubic meters of potable water per hour. The unique pre-treatment technology minimizes clogging issues while advanced oxidation technologies open the possibility to produce potable water from varying water sources.

Ultrafiltration Membrane Systems: UF membrane systems are always designed according to the available raw water characteristics and the pretreatment systems are delivered together with the systems. The UF systems can be assembled either on skids or in containers. The available production rates are from 8 to 1,000 m3/h.
